Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 2, 2026

This policy explains what information Scott Allen Frost collects through www.scottallenfrost.com, how it’s used, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways. First, when you submit the booking or contact form on this site, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, organization, event date, and message. Second, like most websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and technical operation purposes.

We do not currently collect payment information, account credentials, or any other personal data beyond what is described above.

2. How We Use It

Information submitted through the booking form is used solely to evaluate and respond to speaking inquiries — to contact you about your request, discuss event details, and follow up regarding a potential engagement. Standard server logs are used only for site security, troubleshooting, and maintaining the technical performance of the site.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties, and we do not use form submissions for unrelated marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use Resend, a transactional email delivery service, to send booking and contact form submissions to Scott’s team. Resend processes the contents of your submission solely to deliver that email and does not use it for any other purpose on our behalf.

The Books page links out to Amazon, an external retailer, to purchase “Livin’ On a Chair.” When you click that link and leave this site, Amazon’s own privacy policy governs any information you provide there. We do not receive or process any data from that transaction.

4. Data Retention

We retain booking and contact form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain a record of past communications. Standard server logs are retained for a limited period consistent with normal hosting and security practices, after which they are routinely cleared.

5. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding the personal information we hold about you, generally including the right to know what information has been collected, the right to request its deletion, and the right to opt out of its use for certain purposes.

If you are a California resident, these rights are broadly consistent with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA): the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to request deletion of that information, and the right to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do not sell or share personal information). We describe these rights generally, as a formal CCPA applicability threshold analysis has not been conducted for this site.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond as promptly as we’re able.

6. Children’s Privacy

This site is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us so we can remove it.

7. Cookies

This site does not currently use tracking or advertising cookies. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated to describe what is used and how you can control it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the site or our practices. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

9. Contact Us
